Barça Regal won their 18th victory of the season in the Liga Endesa after they defeated Valencia Basket by 94 to 62 in an important match that decided which team would claim the third spot of the table. Tomic, who scored 17 points, was the most decisive Barça Regal player on the court.

Xavi Pascual’s men started off strong as they built a lead of eight point in under five minutes (16-8). Perasovic’s men, however, hit back as they went on a 2 to 7 run, which made it 23-19 at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Barça Regal jumped to a 38 to 29 lead thanks to an especially active Jasikevicius and three consecutive three-pointers for the Blaugrana. Just like in the first quarter, Valencia Basket reacted and came within six points before the break (44-38).

After the break, Three-pointers from Lorbek and Navarro gave Barça Regal 21-point lead (61-40). The third quarter ended with 73 to 52 on the scoreboard.

The last ten minutes of the match saw the Blaugrana take a 35-point lead after two three-pointers from CJ Wallace and two baskets from Sada. The Catalans’ advantage was reduced to 32 points by the end of the game (94-62).
