FC Barcelona and the Chuck Eidson have agreed to rescind the player’s contract with the Club, which means that the player is under no obligation to fulfill the remaining year on his contract with Barça Regal.

Chuck Eidson, who arrived from Maccabi Tel Aviv this past summer, had an irregular season with the Azulgranas. In addition, a ligament injury, which he sustained in the Copa del Rey final, hampered the player’s ability to consistently play for the team.

Average of eight points per game in the ACB

In the Liga ACB, Eidson had standout performances against Unicaja and Real Madrid in the regular season (19 points in each game). The player finished the season with an average of 7.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in his 18 matches with FC Barcelona Regal. The American, who will turn 32 in October, is leaving the Club having won three trophies: Liga Catalana, ACB Supercup and the Liga ACB.
