With four games still to be played in the regular season of the ACB, Juan Carlos Navarro has already managed to score 50 three-pointers this season. The Barça Regal captain, who is the second most successful three-point shooter in the history of the league behind Alberto Herreros, has scored 50 or more three-pointers in 9 consecutive seasons.

Navarro made his debut for Barça’s first team in the 1997/98 season. Since then, the San Feliu del Llobregat native has scored 911 points from the three-point line in his 503 games (averaging 1.81 three-point shots per game).

35% conversion rate

‘La Bomba’ Navarro’s conversion rate from the three-point line this season is slightly lower than his previous seasons, however, he still scores 35% of his long-range shots (51 conversions from 147 attempts). Since the 2002/03 season, the player has always scored at least 59 three-pointers. His record was set in the 2006/07 season when he scored 83 three-pointers. His current tally is much lower this year but he has missed matches due to injury.

This season, the Barça captain is the player with the fifth most conversions from the three-point line, behind Baron (70), Corbacho (62), Teletovic (62) and Penney (60).
