Things are looking better for both Juan Carlos Navarro and Boniface Ndong as the Final Four semi final in Istanbul against Olympiakos draws closer (20.00). Although neither player could train at one hundred per cent on Thursday, they both have a good chance of being there for tonight’s match.
Navarro: “You forget everything on court”

Juan Carlos Navarro, who is suffering a recurrence of his previous plantar fasciitis worries, says he is feeling much better and is optimistic about his chances. He was able to take part in almost the entire training session and now says that “I am feeling much more comfortable, and that’s positive.” Despite this unfortunate situation at such a big moment of the season, he still believes that “you forget about everything once you’re on court. There are no excuses”.

Boniface Ndong also says he’s feeling less tired after two days suffering from an intestinal virus. “I’m recovering little by little” he said. “I have lost weight and feel a bit lighter, but now I have to try to eat and I’m sure I’ll feel a lot better.” He added that his current target is to “get motivated and find the energy from somewhere” in order to be able to help the team.
