La Copa 2012

The King’s Cup 2012 in Barcelona is here. FC Barcelona Regal aspires to clinch their third consecutive title and make Spanish basketball history. Until now no team has been able to accomplish this feat, Xavi Pascual’s men, leaders in the league and the Euroleague, are aware that they are on the cusp of greatness.

Furthermore, this is Barça Regals opportunity to be the team, in over half a century, with the most Cup titles ever in Spain. The Azulgrana are level with Real Madrid with 22 Cup titles a piece. This is the first time since 1961 that both teams are equal on silverware (they both had seven). Barça Regal could make history, not only by winning three consecutive titles, but also claiming the throne as the team with the most Cup titles ever.
