Barça Regal didn’t have a rival in the Liga Catalana and the Endesa Super Cup this year. The Azulgrana manager, Xavi Pascual, led his team in these competition for the first time in the 2009/10 season and since then his teams have always claimed both titles.

In the last edition of the Liga Catalana, which kicked off the season, CEPC Lleida (81-64) and FIATC Mutua Joventut (54-94), were the Azulgrana’s victims, who won the title at the Nou Congost in Manresa. Ndong (15) and Ingles (13) were the highest scorers in the final.

In the Super Cup, the dominant team is also Barça Regal. In the 2009/10 season, Real Madrid were not able to beat Barça, and in the 2010/11 season, Valencia Basket also fell to the Azulgranas. This year, Caja Laboral suffered a painful 83-73 defeat to Barça, who won the title for the third time in as many years. Furthermore, Juan Carlos Navarro was named the MVP of the last three competitions.

The 2011/12 season started off in amazing fashion for Barça Real, who had already won the Liga Catalana and the Endesa Super Cup.
