The Jordan Brand Classic returned to FC Barcelona this weekend. From Friday, 7 March, through this Sunday, 9 March, forty of the best European players, ages 15 to 16, took part in the event held at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper and the Palau Blaugrana.
During the past two days players trained both physical and tactical aspects of their game with some of the best managers America has to offer and they competed among themselves for a spot on the Jordan Brand Classic Team. The final match will be played at Barclays Center in Brooklyn - where the Brooklyn Nets play - on 13 April.
Max Esteban and Eric Martínez, FC Barcelona U16 players, participated in the event. They were both selected to play in the All Star match held at the Palau Blaugrana. At the end of the match the 10 best European players were chosen for the All Star team that will go up against their American counterparts this spring.
Unfortunately, neither of the Barça players will be travelling with the European All Star team to New York City in April.
