Begur Tournament for Selecció de Penyes

On Saturday 11th of June, the Selecció de Penyes took part in a football tournament organised by the Fundació Esportiva Begur. Youngsters from the Under-12 and Under-10 categories enjoyed a festive atmosphere and once again showed their ability to compete while showcasing the values ​​of the Club.

Both teams were led by coaches from the FCB Escola — Carles Uclés and Carles Bargalló — and were coordinated by Edgar Enrich. In addition, the former player Paco Clos served as the technical director of the Supporters Club Select Team.

Both teams played games against clubs like Begur, Rialp, Baix Ter and Llançà, and had a new Barça experience traveling to the tournament from Barcelona by bus.

Experience and results

The youngsters played well in their matches and gained unrivalled football experience. The U-10 team took fourth place, while the U-12 team reached the final. Both teams continued getting valuable minutes while enjoying both football and working to bring the values ​​of FC Barcelona to the rest of Catalonia, this time to Begur.

With the Supporters Club Select Team having now wrapped up their season, everyone is looking forward to resuming training in the fall.
