The Penya Barcelonista Foment Martinenc held, for the fourth time, a conference with American students from Pompeu Fabra University. Through the university’s agreement with the Federació de Penyes Barcelonistes del Barcelonès Est, the students enjoyed a presentation about the supporters’ club movement.
The talk was carried out on Thursday at the auditorium of the Penya Barcelonista Foment Martinenc, situated in the Clot neighbourhood. The objective was for the American students to carry out a social, cultural and political lecture on what Barcelona means, on different levels, with football and the supporters clubs as fundamental elements, both in Catalonia and the rest of the state as well as its expansion on a global level.
