Jordi Cardoner inaugurated two plaques before the Gamper

The Vice President didn’t want to miss the chance to be with the supporter clubs from Buenos Aires and Slovakia

The Gamper was, once again, a great day for the supporters club movement, and in the hours prior to the presentation of Luis Enrique’s team, two plaques were inaugurated. It was a very special event, attended by Vice President Jordi Cardoner, accompanied by the heads of the Supporters Club Committee, Josep M. Barnils, and the Supporters Clubs Syndicate, Ramon Térmens.

To begin with, the protagonist was the Peña Barcelonista Nicolau Casaus from Buenos Aires, the only international supporters club which carries the name of the legend who was Barça Vice President for over 20 years, and grandfather of the current Vice President. The President of the supporters club, Alberto Caloggero, together with Jordi Cardoner, did the honours by revealing the plaque in front of Gate 54 of the Stadium.

Right alongside, more than 40 supporters’ club members were present at the revealing of the shield of the Penya Barcelonista Eslovaca dels Alts Tatras. The president of the supporters club, Peter Bellas, did the honours along with the Barça Vice President.

These inaugurations ended a day of festivities for supporters clubs, and were followed by the superb first team victory over Club León.
