The first day of the XXXIV World Congress of Supporters Clubs started on Thursday with a debate about the future of the FC Barcelona supporters movement. The head of the Social Commission, Pau Vilanova, and the director of the Social Commission and head of international supporters clubs, Josep M. Barnils, welcomed the delegates. FCB vice president Jordi Cardoner i Casaus, who had been attending the memorial service for Ramallets, arrived later.

The more than 400 participants at the World Congress of Supporters Clubs held in the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya divided into three work groups. The Sala Auditori was used by the commission working on Regulations and Events and Activities. In Sala F the debate focused on Marketing and Communication, and finally in Sala J the topic was International affairs.

Framework Presentation passed

The delegates had lunch in the same Palau de Congressos and in the afternoon continued with the vote on the Framework Presentation. This was the culmination of a busy day, and all of the proposals were accepted.

Institutional Day and tribute to Nicolau Casaus, tomorrow

The World Congress of Supporters Clubs, which is coinciding with the Festa Barça, ended on Friday August 2 with the institutional day, including the speech by president Sandro Rosell and a tribute to Nicolau Casaus. The day ended with the traditional Joan Gamper Trophy match.
