Most of the Festa Barça activities will be on its second day Inscriptions open until Monday

Most of the activities will be on the first day of August, including the Supporters Clubs Congress and the World Meeting, which both are being included in the Festa Barça. In the morning on the fields next to the Miniestadi, the 7-a-side football continues, with the finals starting at 19.00.

World Congress Work Day

At 8.30 am, the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya will be opening its doors for supporters clubs to register for the World Congress Work Day. At 10.00, Jordi Cardoner i Casaus, FCB vice president, will be welcoming the guests. He’ll be joined by the director in chief of the Social Commission, Pau Vilanova, and Josep M. Barnils, director of the Social Commission and in charge of international supporters clubs.

The welcomes over, the participants will be divided into three groups. The Sala Auditori will be used to discuss Regulations, Events and Activities. Sala F is the place to talk about Marketing and Communication, while Sala J will be debating International issues.

At midday, there will be lunch available in the same Palau de Congressos. At 15.30 the Work Day continues. In the afternoon session, the future of the movement will be decided, with the Framework Presentation in its entirety being put to the vote. There will also be question and answer session in case anybody wishes to make any suggestions or pose any questions that could be of benefit to the movement.

Botifarra card competition is back

The Auditori 1899 will be used for the second edition of the Botifarra competition, a typical Catalan card game. It’s been such a success that we have already reached the limit for the number of entrants, and therefore no more pairs can be accepted.

More Festa Barça action

On the Festa Barça stage at 17.00 there will be a children’s show presented by Pepsicolen, and at 20.00, there will be live music courtesy of Andreu Rifé.

XXXVI World Meeting Supper

At 21.15, there will be supper for everyone on the Festa Barça site. Llucià Ferrer, the presenter of Barça TV’s show based on the supporters movement, Quina Penya!, will be there to introduce a number of surprises, and also to present the prizes for the Botifarra competition.

All told, this is fun-packed day of Barça themed activity that you can’t afford to miss!
