Andalusia supporter clubs involved in events ahead of Barça – Espanyol game Presented the poster of the Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla Supporters Clubs Congress and a plaque unveiled.

Andalusia played a big part in the build up to the Catalan Derby, with a large number of supporters clubs’ members came up to Barcelona to watch the game and enjoy the long holiday weekend.

At 19.00, in the Auditori 1899, the poster of the XI Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla Supporters Clubs Congress was presented. The Peña Barcelonista de Málaga will host the event at the end of May 2014 – the first time the clubs from the area, who have now been joined together in a federation.

Club vice-president Jordi Cardoner i Casaus attended the event, accompanied by the head of the Comissió Social, Pau Vilanova. Also in attendance were the president of the Peña Barcelonista de Málaga, Miguel Sánchez, and Diego Peral, secretary of the Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla Federation.

With representatives from nearly 10 different penyes, the 80 attendees greeted the announcement enthusiastically and showed their interest in maintaining the biennial event.

Plaque at the Gol Sud

The Peña Barcelonista PSV Almadén de la Plata, in Seville also had a reason to celebrate -15 of the members came to the game and saw their club plaque unveiled at gate 36, with Elvira Pou, director of the Comissió de Penyes, and José Sánchez, president of the penya in presence.

It was a great build up for the game that saw Tata Martino’s side extend their unbeaten run.
