VII Torneig Internacional de Futbol 7 de Penyes del FC Barcelona

There will be 22 teams in the VII Torneig Internacional de Futbol 7 de Penyes del FC Barcelona, which will once again be staged at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper where the academy teams are based and the first team train.

Twelve different zones will be represented and the Agrupació de Penyes del FC Barcelona will again be entering a team in each category represent8ing the different zones of Catalonia.


The alevins (10-12 years old) competition will have 12 teams split into three groups of four, with the top two and the two best third placed teams going through to the next round, whilst the others play off for the 9th-12th places.

Group 1: Agrupació de Penyes, PB de Carme (Anoia), PB Malena (Córdoba), PB Visca el Barça de Santa Pola (Alacant)

Group 2: PB Castelldefels (Baix Llobregat), PB La Pedrera de Masllorenç (Baix Penedès), Peña Caracas Azulgrana (Venezuela), PB Alzira i Comarca (Ribera Alta)

Grup 3: PB St Esteve Sesrovires (Baix Llobregat), PB Ciutat de Lleida (Segrià), PB A Bella Otero de Valga (Pontevedra), PB Talavera La Real (Badajoz)

The benjamins (aged between 8 and 10) will play in two groups of five, with the top two of each group meeting in the semi finals and the rest playing for positions 5-12.

Group 1: Agrupació de Penyes, Peña Caracas Azulgrana (Venezuela), PB Priego Los Peloteros (Córdoba), PB Vendrell i Baix Penedès (Baix Penedès), PB Tàrrega (Urgell)

Group 2: PB Iniesta 24 (Baix Llobregat), PB Solsona i Comarca (Solsonès), PB Olèrdola (Alt Penedès), PB Visca el Barça de Santa Pola (Alacant), Gran PB de Badajoz (Badajoz).

Two days of competition at the Ciutat Esportiva

The group phase will last from Saturday morning till Sunday morning for the benjamins, whist the younger players will only play their group games on Saturday. On Sunday afternoon, the semi finals, third and fourth place games and the finals of the two age groups will be played, followed by the prize giving ceremony led by Directors from the Àrea Social, the Comissió Social and the Comissió de Penyes. The Qatar Foundation will also provide the winners with tickets to see the first league game between Barça and Real Sociedad.

There will also be prizes for the goalkeeper who concedes least goals and the leading scorer in each category.

Promoting sporting values

One of the new features of the tournament is that the referees will have an additional card - the Valors Barça card – which he or she can show to a player who shows good sportsmanship. These cards will decide the winners of the Trofeu Josep M. Profitós al Joc Net, the tournament’s Fair Play Award.

How to get there

Everybody is invited to come along and watch the games and visit the Ciutat Esportiva and access is via the Accés Sud. The Ciutat Esportiva can be reached via the Trambaix, stopping at Consell Comarcal or on the shuttle buses which will leave the Camp Nou from 10.00 in the morning.
