Toni Freixa at the XXV Anniversary of the PB Castuera

Castuera is a town with a population of some six thousand inhabitants in the south-western Spanish province of Badajoz. Last weekend the town was in party mood. The celebrations were big news as the local Barça supporters’ club celebrated its first quarter century.

Toni Freixa, spokesman and secretary to the Board of Directors, was warmly received at the Castuera Town Hall by the membership of the supporters’ club as well as by other local groups. Juan Francisco Perea, president of the supporters’ club, and local mayor Manuel Paolo de Atalaya were among those who welcomed the Barça delegation.

An anniversary present

Afterwards, Freixa visited the new social club of the PB Castuera where he officially opened the building on the very day that the supporters’ club celebrated its 25th anniversary.

There was then a discussion on current issues at Barça followed by a video commemorating the anniversary. The celebrations were culminated with a dinner for some 200 guests.
