Supporters’ Club events prior to Barça v Levante

Last Saturday, the hours leading up to the match in the Camp Nou saw a large variety of Supporters’ Club events

Last Saturday afternoon, there were a large number of Supporters’ Club activities. The hours before the kickoff of the match between Barça and Levante saw a reception for an international club, the presentation of a book and of a football tournament, and the inauguration of four shields on the façade of the stadium.

Board Room events

The events got underway at 6 pm in the Board Room. The head of the Social Commission, Pau Vilanova, gave a reception for the Barça Supporters Club of Sweden. The Swedish delegation was made up of fifteen people led by the club president Carlos Borja.

Next the Villabalter club presented Años de Peña, Años de Barcelonismo, a book – including a prologue by the vice-president of FC Barcelona Jordi Cardoner i Casaus - commemorating the silver anniversary of the supporters’ club. The book was presented by Pau Vilanova and the president of the supporters’ club Jorge Juan Moreno. This same club also presented the IV César Rodríguez Children’s Football 7 Tournament together with the vice-president of the Barça Players Association, Ferran Olivella.

Four shields more on the façade

The Penya Barcelonista Ribera Baixa unveiled their shield at gate 56. The ceremony was carried out by Jordi Durà, from the Supporters’ Clubs Commission and Jordi Beltran.

Meanwhile, in another part of the stadium, the Penya de Touraine supporters’ club, led by their president Alfonso Egea, inaugurated their shield. Dani Casanovas, from the Supporters’ Clubs Commission, represented Barça.

The Penya Barcelonista Ponts i Comarca unveiled their shield at gate 67. Joan Fusté, president of the club and Jordi Durà did the honours.

The events finished with the Penya Blau-Grana Planers. Daniel Casanovas and the club president, Santiago Pla, unveiled their shield.
