The Bayerischer Penya Blaugrana will be welcoming Barça fans to Munich A historic beer hall in the city centre will be the Barça meeting point before the game with Bayern

On Tuesday, Barça face Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League semi finals. Naturally, the local FCB supporters club will be acting as host to all the travelling fans.

The Bayerischer Penya Blaugrana, which was made official last February, has organised a meeting point to enjoy the build-up to the Champions League encounter. All fans are invited to help make the FCB voice heard in Munich.

Meeting from 14.00 onwards

The place for Barça fans to gather is the historic Löwenbräukeller beer hall in the centre of the Bavarian capital, one of the six producers of the world famous Oktoberfest. Its facilities include a huge outdoor area with the capacity for 800 people.

There you’ll be able to enjoy some wonderful beer and also try some of the region’s favourite gastronomic delights. The best ways to get there are on the local underground system, the U-Bahn (line U1, station Stiglmaierplatz), or tramlines 20 and 21.

The members of Bayerischer Penya Blaugrana will be at hand to advise Barça fans on any aspect of their visit and things to see and do in the city. As kickoff approaches, fans should start making their way to the Munich Arena on public transport.
