La Penya Blaugrana Vall del Tenes, which covers the four municipalities of Bigues i Riells, Santa Eulalia de Ronçana, Lliça d’Amunt and Lliçà d’Avall, organised the 24th Trobada de Penyes del Vallès this weekend - an event which brought together more than 270 Barça fans from 25 different penyes.

The event began this Sunday in Bigues i Riells after a series of acts which began on Friday at the Centre Cívic de Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana. Jordi Cardoner, Vice-President of the Club’s Area Social represented the Club  on Sunday when the Penya Solera Barcelonista Castellar del Vallès –who organised last year’s edition – and  la Penya Blaugrana Vall del Tenes interchanged pennants and gifts.

Visit to Lliçà d’Amunt

The event then moved to Lliçà d’Amunt for a gypsy ball followed by a gala lunch attended by Jordi Cardoner, ex-players and members of the ABJ  Josep Seguer and Ramon Alfonseda and Jordi Durà, director of the Comissió de Penyes.

Following the lunch, there was a tribute to Josep Seguer and 11 other penya members of the  PB Vall del Tenes. Finally, commemorative gifts were handed out  to Ignasi Simón Ortoll (Mayor of Lliçà d’Amunt), Joaquim Brustenga i Etxauri (Mayor of Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana), Joan Giménez (delegate to the Consell Consultiu de Penyes del Vallès Occidental) and Jordi Juan Bosque (President of La Penya Blaugrana Vall del Tenes).
