Letter of Jordi Cardoner to penya presidents

Barcelona, May 2013

Dear president,

First of all, our very best wishes and heartfelt thanks for all the good work you have been doing to run your supporters club.

A very important moment for the supporters movement is upon us because FC Barcelona will be recognising for the first time the supporters club federations, a proposal passed unanimously at the last Congress 2012 and validated in the supporters club regulations passed by the Club Directors.

This letter is to announce the start of the elections to the boards of the supporters club federations, an election process that will run until next June 30. As well as the above, we are also finalising the process of updating the supporters club census, which also ends on June 30, and which will tell us about the real scope of the supporters movement.

We are therefore about to undergo a major change in the way the movement is run, and which supposes a major advance towards the new projects being implemented to promote the FCB Supporters Club name and reposition the movement at the forefront of FC Barcelona support in the territory.

We would therefore like to encourage you to participate actively in this process, one which makes us very proud and which should mark the start of a new era.
