Major success of the XXV Anniversary of the Penya Barcelonista de Santpedor, on the mark of the XXI Bages, Berguedà i Cerdanya Barça Supporters’ Clubs Meeting. A total of 32 supporters’ clubs represented by 240 people during lunch. Vicepresident Jordi Cardoner and director Josep Ramon Vidal Abarce attended as FC Barcelona representatives.

Cardoner evaluated the Santpedor supporters’ club during his speech, as well as its social fabric he defined as model role. The vicepresident also highlighted Pep Guardiola’s figure, besides thanking the audience for coming and stating the importance of the penyes movement. Other personalities also attended, such as mayor Laura Vilagrà, delegate of Supporters’ Clubs Advisory Council Ramon Burniol, and also l’Avi del Barça (local from Guardiola de Berguedà).

One day with plenty of activities

The events had started during the morning on Sunday with a parade through the streets of Santpedor. A commemorative plaque of the XXI Meeting was unveiled on the square where Pep Guardiola was born. Afterwards, the delegation –including Barça directors- head to the Council, where a family photograph was taken, and visited an exposition on the penya’s 25 years and its headquarters.
