FC Barcelona Women took top spot in the league table after previous leaders Atlético Madrid slipped to a draw and the Catalans earned a 3-0 win over Betis.

The opening goal came through a familiar source, as Jenni Hermoso combined with Alexia Putellas for (1-0, min 28). Just after Betis missed a chance of their own, Barça doubled their lead through Hermoso, with Alexia returning the favour with the assist (2-0, min 44).

Early in the second period, Losada struck the post with a free-kick. But thankfully it was not to be rued as Putellas killed the game on 71 minutes from a Bàrbara Latorre assist (3-0, min 71).

With this crucial win, Barça take top spot on goal difference, and serves as a perfect morale booster ahead of the Champions League semi-final against PSG.
