The Barça Women bounced back from European exit in Paris by continuing their fine domestic form with a win at Sporting Huelva. They were trailing at half-time, but goals from Olga Garcia and Jenni Hermoso turned things around in the second half to win three points that put further pressure on narrow Liga leaders Athletic Bilbao.

With Irene del Río in the starting eleven, Barça responded well to a plucky start from their Andalusian hosts, but after squandering a series of occasions went a goal down to a Martín Prieto strike.

Bárbara came on for Irene del Río at half-time, and the change brought about immediate effect. Jenni and Gemma both had fine chances before Olga Garcia finally found an equaliser and Bárbara very nearly added another.

After 70 minutes, an active Jenni Hermoso got her reward with her 16th goal of the season. It remained 2-1, a result that was further boosted by the news that fellow title contenders Atlético Madrid were beaten away to Real Sociedad and are now three points adrift of second placed Barça.
