There is no league fixture this weekend for the Barça women’s team due to a break for regional teams. But with big games against Levante, Athletic Bilbao and Valencia to come, coach Xavi Llorens would prefer to keep the dynamic going, and so the chance for a friendly with South Korean champions Hyundai Steel Red Angels on Friday has come at the perfect time.
The game kicks off at 10.30am CET and although it will be played behind closed doors you can watch a live stream here at www.fcbarcelona.com.
The same sides also met in a friendly in 2015, with Barça winning 1-0 thanks to a goal by Gemma Gili, and also in a 1-1 draw the year before, with Alexia scoring the FCB goal and Jenni Hermoso making her debut.
Hyundai Steel Red Angels have a number of Korean internationals in their squad, which played Spain at the World Cup in Canada last summer.
