FC Barcelona’s Women’s Team, led by Xavi Llorens, come into the final stretch of the season in an enviable position: second in the table and within striking distance of Athletic Club, who are first. Last week, with the 0-1 victory over Levante Las Planas and Atlético Madrid’s defeat, the Blaugrana secured the second position of the table and now they are only three points behind the league leaders. The last game of the season will pit the Catalans against the Basques against each other in a match that very well could decide who wins the title.
There are four matches left on the schedule - this weekend’s and three more - and the FCB Women’s Team have a tough road ahead of them. This Sunday, at 12.00, the Blaugrana will face off against Sevilla. The match will be broadcast live by Barça TV and it will be streamed live on fcbarcelona.com.
