[[DES_1]]After the midweek defeat of BATE Borisov, the U19 team continued its fine form with a convincing win at home to Stadium Casablanca of Zaragoza.

The visitors are struggling this season, but their lowly position in the table was not reflected at all by their confident start to the game. Barça found it mighty hard to create any kind of early danger, despite almost all of the play being deep inside the opposition’s half.

Other than an Alex Blanco strike after 20 minutes, the Catalans had barely had a shot on goal until there were just six minutes of the half remaining, when the same player was brought down in the area following a terrific solo run. Juanma stepped up to take the spot kick, and Barça went in 1-0 up after a largely uneventful first 45 minutes.

Taking their chances

Barça needed to change in the second half. They were clearly the better side, but the scoreboard was not reflecting what was happening on the pitch. However, a second goal was increasingly inevitable, and when it came, Alex Blanco was involved yet again. He raced in like a bullet from the right and laid the ball off brilliantly to Carbonell, who drove the ball home to make it 2-0 after 60 minutes.

The second goal knocked the wins out of the Aragonese, and was a new lease of life for the Catalans. Busquets came close to adding a third but visiting keeper Monforte kept it out with the best save of the day. Moments later though, that man Alex Blanco was back in action with a goal to remember. Speed, dribbling and a splendid finish all combined to make it 3-0. There was still time for Theo to add another to make it 4-0 and a game that had got off to a doddery start ended up being a fine win, and yet another important boost for the confidence of Gabri and his team.
