Vinyals looking for good feeling

U19 team manager Jordi Vinyals was speaking ahead of tomorrow's game with Ajax (4.00 PM CET / Eurosport) in the UEFA Youth League After beating Apoel in the opening match, FC Barcelona drew with PSG in Paris

The U19 team entertain Ajax at the Miniestadi on Tuesday (4.00 PM CET, Eurosport) in what promises to a be a cracking game between two of the world’s leading clubs in terms of youth football.

The Barça manager, Jordi Vinyals, spoke to the media on Monday to say that “all games in the Champions League are difficult. Ajax scored a lot of goals against PSG and we found it hard to get a draw in Paris”.

Quality opponent

The coach continued that “they play the classic Dutch 4-3-3 system, getting the ball quick down the wings, dominating possession and man marking … But I am more concerned about ourselves than I am about Ajax. We have to start controlling the ball in games again and working hard in defence. I’m starting to get a good feeling about the team and trying to get them to do the best they possibly can. Ajax will be a big test for us. They have quality players. We have to get back to being ourselves.”
