Barça’s Juvenil A team qualified for the UEFA Youth League semi-finals this afternoon as they downed Arsenal in the quarter-final at the Miniestadi. The result on the 81st minute was a 2-2 draw which would have led to a penalty shootout, but the men managed by Jordi Vinyals fired for two more goals and clinched qualification. Their next match will be in Nyon against Schalke 04.

Vice-president Jordi Mestre and the directors Silvio Elías, Toni Freixa and Pilar Guinovart attended the match. In addition to the directors, Barça B manager Eusebio Sacristán and his coaching staff and first team player Xavi Hernández also watched the match from the stands.
