Under 16s beat Al Dhafra 4–1 for a spot in the final of the Abu Dhabi tournament

Wednesday's victory sets the Catalans up for Friday's final versus Liverpool, which routed Hamburg, 5-0

FC Barcelona's Under-16 team looks good wherever they play, be it in Catalonia or in the United Arab Emirates. Their recent string of first-rate play in their domestic league continued on Wednesday, when they routed Al Dhafra — the organizing team of the Abu Dhabi International Tournament — by a score of 4–1.

The victory puts FC Barcelona in the final, to be played on Friday, versus Liverpool, which won in a semi-final rout of their own, 5–0 over Hamburg. FC Barcelona and Liverpool will face off on Friday at 3.30pm at the Zayed Sports City.

Miguel Martínez put Barça up 1–0 in the 24th minute, the game's only first half goal. Jandro Orellana scored to make it 2–0 in the 56th and Guillem Micó notched Barça's third in the 65th.

Al Dhafra struck back two minutes later in the 67th, but Enric Martínez put the game away five minutes from time to guarantee Barça a slot in Friday's final.

FC Barcelona's Sergio Gómez was named the game's MVP.
