For three days the members of the Nike Academy, made up of some of the most talented unsigned players from around the world, will have the chance to train, learn and play at FC Barcelona’s facilities.

Situated at the headquarters of the English FA in St.George’s Park, the Nike Academy is a programme that consists of 22 top quality players. In service since 2009, the Academy offers young players to the best coaches, facilities and equipment. In the last few months they have played against some of the best U19 sides, such as Inter Milan and Queens Park Rangers.

Furthermore, the players have had the chance to learn about the Club’s philosophy and how it develops young players thanks to a talk given jointly by Joan Vilà and Pere Gratacós, two member of the coaching staff in the FC Barcelona youth system. After another training session on Tuesday, the Nike Academy will take on a Barça U19 side in the Minestadi on Wednesday.
