The FC Barcelona U19B side were crowned U19 National League champions on Satruday thanks to second placed Cornellà’s defeat against Mataró. The blaugranes took the title as the division’s top scorers and also as the team who conceded fewest goals, regaining the league championship after a two year drought.

For the game against Europa, blaugrana coach Quique Álvarez was without five players due to international duty. The visitors gave Barça a guard of honour ahead of kick off to mark their league title victory.

However, it was the visitors who took the lead just five minutes before half time, Tatay putting Europa ahead. Nevertheless, man of the match Kun struck back for Barça.

The home side took control in the second half with Kun grabbing a second five minutes after the restart. Efforts from Ricard Sánchez, Sousia from the spot, De Vega and Edgar rounded off the win for the U19B, a fitting victory to celebrate their league title success.
