The FCBEscola  is a soccer school model based on FC Barcelona’s philosophy,  aimed at children from  6 to 11 years old and whose main objective is the integral training of the students.

This training is based on two basic ideas:

•  Teaching  the players the basics of soccer so they can  successfully  face  up to the sporting challenges  they might face in the future.

•  Transmitting the values  that represent FC Barcelona: tolerance, respect, solidarity, comradeship, citizenship and  integration.

How do we  get in?

Students must pass entry trials that are carried out in April and May for the following season.

How do we work?

There are working groups of a maximum of 12 students, so that students can be actively involved during the sessions, and the coach can have a great impact on everybody’s  evolution.

The school follows the training methods  the youth teams of the club, which consist of a series of progressive exercises related to each stage or level of education:

• Introduction: (6 and 7 years). Working on co-ordination and motor aspects related to football.

• Pre-training: (8 and 9 years). Working on basic soccer techniques.

• Training: (10 and 11 years). Working on essential football tactics and improvement of technical skills.

When do we play matches?

Teams play in an internal league on Saturday morning, with the objective of learning while practicing aspects worked on during training.

Some students are selected to play in teams representing the FCBEscola in various matches and tournaments organized both nationally and internationally.
