Impressive mosaic at Camp Nou to get the Clásico under way

The FC Barcelona fans were the centre of attention in the moments leading up to kick off in the Clásico. Some 98,000 cards were lifted up at Camp Nou to show off a great mosaic bearing the slogan “We Color Football” just as the players came out on to the field.

On one side the Catalan flag, la Senyera, could be seen accompanied by the team’s blaugrana colours. To round off the pre-match atmosphere, the fans sang the club anthem to create the best possible welcome for the team. A fitting beginning for arguably the biggest game in world football.
