A 4-2 win for FC Barcelona againsty Sevilla at Camp Nou in a game dominated from start to finish by Ernesto Valverde's men. Philippe Coutinho's goal put the blaugranes ahead in just the second minute and then with less than a quarter of an hour gone Leo Messi double the home side's advantage. However, half way through the first half the Argentine was forced off with an arm injury.
Despite their lead, Barça pushed on and Luis Suárez added a third from the penalty spot. Sevilla, nevertheless, did not throw in the towel and pulled one back through Sarabia.
