Leo Messi was one of the guests of honour at Thursday’s Champions League draw ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
The Argentinian was among the nominees for best striker and best player, but although UEFA opted to hand the silverware elsewhere on this occasion, the Barça superstar was still the focus of attention at the showpiece event.
Our cameras were there to watch everything unfold, and the result is this video of his day in the principality in the company of women’s star Lieke Martens, who did pick up the award for top player in her category.
