It was an intense first day for Denis Suárez as a member of FC Barcelona's first team. After arriving at the airport on Tuesday and heading straight to a medical centre for his physical, Suárez went to the Ciutat Esportiva, the place where he played three seasons ago as a member of Barça B.
"It was still under construction [back then]," he said. Later, Suárez took part in a handful of publicity events and was interviewed by the Club's media arm.
On Wednesday, it was time for his official presentation. Accompanied at all times by members of his family, Suárez officially penned his name to the new deal, took part in a press conference, and, to top it all off, he donned the Blaugrana strip and stepped out onto the pitch at Camp Nou to juggle the ball for scores of fans who came to welcome him.
