With the La Liga schedule having been officially announced in mid-July, the actual dates and kick-off times of the matches have been slowly coming into focus.

And on Monday morning, FC Barcelona learned that their third game of the league calendar has been set for 10 September at 8.30pm.

The match, which falls on a Saturday, which will see Barça square off against the Basque side Alavés at Camp Nou.

Alavés, which were promoted the Spanish First Division at the end of the 2015/16 season, have not played in the top flight since 2005/06.
