Friday may be the final day of the work week for many, but for FC Barcelona, their work is just getting started. The Catalans opened preparations for Sunday’s La Liga clash with visiting Leganés following Wednesday’s recovery workout and Thursday’s day off.

Leganés are currently in 17th place in La Liga and will be visiting Camp Nou for the very first time this weekend.

Kick off Sunday is set for 8.45pm CET and will be televised worldwide.

All available first team players took part in the morning workout at Barça’s training center in Sant Joan Despí. Among them was Arda Turan, still recovering from a right adductor trouble. They were joined by the Barça B midfielder, Wilfrid Kaptoum.

Against Leganés, the Catalans hope to keep up their solid run of form in La Liga, in which they are undefeated in their last 15 games.

Barça are scheduled to train again on Saturday morning, their final workout before Sunday night’s match, after which the manager, Luis Enrique Martínez will speak to the media in his habitual pre-game press conference.
