FC Barcelona finished their UEFA Champions League group stage in first place, booking themselves a seeded position in the draw for the last 16 which will take place next Monday. Barça finished ahead of rivals Celtic, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Manchester City, who took runners up place in Group C.

The group stages were not short on emotional returns: Marc-André ter Stegen went back to Gladbach, his former club, for the first time since signing for the blaugranes. Furthermore, there was a return to Camp Nou for former Barça coach and player Pep Guardiola, now in charge of Manchester City. Leo Messi scored his 100th goal in international competition as a Barça player and there were debuts for Marlon Santos and Marc Cardona. See it all in our video round up!
