It was wheels up for FC Barcelona around 11.15am on Wednesday morning, when the team’s charter flight took off from Barcelona-El Prat Airport en route to the capital of Spain, where they face Atlético Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals at 9.00pm. The plane landed around 12.10pm.


Traveling with the 18 players on the squad list were the Club’s President, Josep Maria Bartomeu; the Vice President, Jordi Mestre; the Board Members, Silvio Elías and Oriol Tomàs.

Barça are the two-time defending champions of the Copa del Rey and have won the most Cups in the tournament’s history.
