Back to work to begin training for Las Palmas

After a short break, the squad returns to the Ciutat Esportiva to prepare for this weekend's trip to the Canary Islands, joined by Marlon, Aleñá and Kaptoum of Barça B

After taking a short break, the FC Barcelona squad were back at training on Wednesday morning with their batteries fully recharged and raring to get back into action this weekend.

The longest away trip of the season awaits – no less than 2,174 kilometres (1,351 miles) down to the Canary Islands off the northwest coast of Africa and a game against Las Palmas (Sunday at 8.00pm CET).

The preparations for yet another must-win fixture began on a sunny but not especially warm morning at the Ciutat Esportiva, with all the available members of the first team squad joined by three members of the Barça reserve team: Marlon Santos, Carles Aleñá and Wilfrid Kaptoum.

The players will be back on the Tito Vilanova field for another workout on Thursday at the same time, 11.00am CET.
