Joe Staley and Eric Reid of the 49ers with Iniesta, Piqué and Sergio / MIGUEL RUIZ - FCB

The hectic American schedule continued for the Barça players on their second day in San Francisco. They trained twice, once in the Cox Stadium at San Francisco State University, and once in the Levi’s Stadium, where they’ll play their second International Champions Cup fixture against Manchester United. The day also saw a special visit from Joe Staley and Eric Reid of the San Francisco 49ers, who taught the players some basic American football skills. Gerard Piqué learned how to play as wide receiver with Reid as quarterback and Staley providing coverage. The players also took shots on goal using oval balls, which some of the soccer players, such as Halilovic, decided to keep as a souvenir.
