MSN celebrate one of their goals against Valencia this season / MIGUEL RUIZ - FCB

As another Clásico approaches, FC Barcelona’s front three will be looking to extend their respective goal tallies on the biggest stage.

Leo Messi has been a thorn in Real Madrid’s side ever since he netted a hat-trick against Iker Casillas as a 19-year-old back in 2007 at Camp Nou.

Madrid have become one of the Argentine’s favourite opponents, having gone on to equal Alfredo Di Stéfano’s record of 18 goals in the fixture in all competitions (18).

In the league, Messi has 14 Clásico goals to his name and will be looking to add to his existing tally to be the outright top scorer of the famous rivalry.

His partners in crime, Neymar Jr and Luis Suárez, have enjoyed a potent start to their El Clásico legacy. Neymar scored on his first encounter against Madrid in a 2-1 win, and has gone on to score once in each of the three seasons he has been at the club.

Suárez has also scored three against Madrid; once in last season’s 2-1 win at Camp Nou and a brace in the 4-0 demolition at the Santiago Bernabéu earlier in the campaign.

The front three have played three games together which have resulted in two wins and one defeat.
