The Spanish Football League (LFP) has announced that Barça’s rearranged fixture away at Sporting Gijón will finally be played on Wednesday 17 February at 6.30pm CET. The game in El Molinero was originally as part of Week 16’s set of fixtures in December but was postponed to accommodate FC Barcelona’s trip to Japan where they claimed the Club’s third Club World Cup title.

The league has also changed the kick off time for Barça’s fixture the weekend before the trip to Gijón. The home game against Celta Vigo in Week 24 of La Liga was originally scheduled for Saturday 13 February at 8.30pm CET. It will now be played 24 hours later on Sunday 14 February at 8.30pm CET at Camp Nou.
