Just hours after FC Barcelona's 2015/16 debut against the LA Galaxy, striker Luis Suárez sat down to talk about both the Club and the preseason after arriving in San Francisco. Here are the highlights of what he had to say:

On the United States:

"I've been to Miami on holiday with my wife and my daughter. I didn't know anything about the two cities [Los Angeles and San Francisco] we've visited, and I've been pleasantly surprised."

On the first training sessions of the season:

"The most important thing is to get re-acclimated after such a long time off. But we still feel pretty good. We played the other day and, despite missing several players, our play was very much the same."

"What we have to do now is to get back into the rhythm that's needed for the big games in August."

On Barça Madness:

"It's been surprising, especially because here in the US football is not a top sport. The fan support has really drawn my attention."

On Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal:

"Arda Turan doesn't speak much Spanish but we're able to speak a little bit in English. Things are also going well with Aleix Vidal. Both of them are very talented, which they've already shown with their previous their clubs."

"They've come to help contribute in any way they can. It's a shame we have to wait until January to see them in an official match."

"They're in a strange situation; it's different. They train every day but can't play in games. They know what's going on, which is similar to what happened to me."
