Luis Enrique appeared before the press after his team's 4–1 victory over Levante, and was quick to praise all the players on his team. The coach lined up a different eleven, giving time to some players who so far had not had much playing time, like Marc Bartra, Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramírez. Despite the changes, the team was great.

"I am very satisfied with the game and to see that we have a lot of resources."

Luis Enrique said he expected a match like that against Levante. "We knew they would play with five midfielders and four on defense, and that it would be tough to hurt them," he said.

The coach spoke of Lionel Messi, Bartra, Sandro and Munir. Of Messi, who had a double, Luis Enrique said that "he was a little human; he missed a penalty, but [in the end] had two goals and an assist." On Bartra, the coach said that "he was very good in traffic and also opened the scoring."

"It is not his role, but he's good enough to do it. He played a very complete match," he added.

Luis Enrique also praised the games of Munir and Sandro, who joined Messi and Neymar on attack. "I liked how they played, and they needed minutes. They are young, they can score and have potential."

Other statements by Luis Enrique:

"Our system depends of who we're playing and based on the players we think are most suited to each game."

"Knowing [Marc-André] ter Stegen, I am not worried about him losing confidence. He showed that after the goal he could come right back out. He's got plenty of character and personality."

"[Dani] Alves's physical strength lets him play 90 minutes after recovering from an injury. It something that very few players can do."

"In 22 days we have seven matches, and players need rest and we have to distribute the minutes. It's better for the team, physically."

On Barça's next opponents:

"Celta are one of the most entertaining teams to watch."
