Arsenal face a tough challenge to turn around a two-goal deficit at the Camp Nou on Wednesday but defender Laurent Koscielny believes his side have nothing to lose.

Due to the significant margin achieved in London by the Catalans, the French international admits that there are not the same expectations for his side going into the game.

“It is obvious that we do not have the same pressure as we did in the first leg.”

That said, Koscielny is not keen to throw in the towel and says his side must battle until the very last ball is kicked.

“If you are not prepared to fight against Barça they will end up beating you because they have extraordinary players. We must be very alert and believe in our chances,” said the 30-year-old.

Arsenal have fallen off the pace of late which has led to them losing ground in the Premier League title race and just last weekend were knocked out of the FA Cup by Watford in the quarter finals.

As a result, Koscielny feels it is crucial that his side show face against Barça to get the team spirit and confidence back ahead of the season run-in.

“We want to get back to our normal level against Barça and for the remainder of the season. We will fight until the end.”
