Barça’s 2015/16 campaign is now under way. Following on from the medical tests in the morning, on Monday the team held their first training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The session saw16 players involved and was overseen by the coaching staff at the Tito Vilanova training pitch.
It was the first session for Arda Turan with FC Barcelona. The other fifteen participants were Luis Suárez, Rafinha, Douglas, Sergi Roberto, Adriano, Vermaelen, Mathieu, Masip, Iniesta, Sandro, Munir, Halilovic, Samper, José Aurelio Suarez and Gumbau (the last three from the B squad). The ball played an important role in the session which saw Luis Enrique also return to work.
On Tuesday there will a double training session for the squad. The players will train at 9.30am CET and at 6.30pm CET and in between sessions Luis Enrique will hold a press conference at 12.00pm CET.
