FC Barcelona v Atlético de Madrid

FC Barcelona will face Atlético Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League following the draw that was made in Nyon on Friday.

The Catalans secured their ninth consecutive quarter-final berth with a 3-1 win over Arsenal at Camp Nou on Wednesday (5-1 on aggregate), and are now aiming to reach the semi-finals for the eighth time in nine seasons.

Atlético reached the last eight by defeating PSV Eindhoven on penalties following two goalless matches and feature in the last eight for the third year running.

Barça and Atlético met at the same stage of the competition in 2013/14 where the Madrid-based club came out on top with a 2-1 aggregate win.

The first leg will take place at Camp Nou on 5 April while the return match will be hosted at the Vicente Calderon on 13 April. Both games will kick off at 8.45pm CET.
