FC Barcelona flew on Wednesday morning to Vigo in northwest Spain, where they will face Celta later on in the evening in both teams' fifth La Liga game of the season. The team plane took off at 10.00am* from Barcelona–El Prat Airport and landed in Galicia at noon.

The team's expedition was being led by Director Ramon Pont. Club Vice President Susana Monje and Director Silvio Elías also traveled to Vigo.

Before leaving Barcelona the coaching staff had to make a last minute change to the squad as Douglas replaced Jordi Alba. Kickoff is set for at 8.00pm.
