FC Barcelona got in their very first touches with the ball on Japanese territory on Monday, as they took part in their very first training session in Yokohama approximately ten hours after having landed at Narita International Airport.

Head coach Luis Enrique's led his men through a light workout as they commenced preparations for their debut in the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup, which is set for Thursday against Guangzhou Evergrande in the semi-finals. Every player who made the trip to Japan worked out except for the injured striker Neymar and defender Douglas.

The session was held in the small but cosy confines of the Nippatsu Mitsuzawa Stadium, located within a stone's throw of the hotel where the team is staying. Monday's session lasted about an hour.

While the Barça players worked out on the pitch, more than 240 children from the FCBEscola Futsushika, which opened in April, were in attendance to cheer on their favourite stars and snap pictures. One of the highlights was 8-year-old Koshiro Yamashita, who sang the Barça anthem a capella.
